Cary Woodville Malphrus 
Cary Woodville was born on February 7th, 1884 in Ridgeland, Jasper Co., SC.1 Cary Woodville's father was Seaborn Nathaniel Malphrus and his mother was Sarah Jane Mulligan. His paternal grandparents were William Edward Malphrus and Kitsiah Woods; his maternal grandparents were Francis Mulligan and Eliza Lavonia Dean. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Henry Brooker, William Francis, George Washington, Joseph, Ashby Marcellus, Andrew O., Cornelius Edward, Albert Preacher, Sarah Ida and Anna Ada. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 78 on September 2nd, 1962.1 -
