Albert Preacher Malphrus 
Albert Preacher was born on October 17th, 1894 in Ridgeland, Jasper Co., SC.1 Albert Preacher's father was Seaborn Nathaniel Malphrus and his mother was Sarah Jane Mulligan. His paternal grandparents were William Edward Malphrus and Kitsiah Woods; his maternal grandparents were Francis Mulligan and Eliza Lavonia Dean. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Henry Brooker, William Francis, George Washington, Joseph, Ashby Marcellus, Andrew O., Cary Woodville, Cornelius Edward, Sarah Ida and Anna Ada. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 52 on October 29th, 1946.1 -
