Samuel Jones

Samuel was born on June 8th, 1775 in Goshen, Orange, New York.¹ Samuel's father was Benjamin Jones and his mother was Jemima Delavan. His paternal grandfather was Ebenezer Jones. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Benjamin, Lewis, Harry, Major, Rhoda, Rebecca and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the ten children.¹
