Elizabeth Jones

Elizabeth was born in 1776 in Poundridge, Fairfield, Connecticut.¹ Elizabeth's father was Benjamin Jones and her mother was Jemima Delavan. Her paternal grandfather was Ebenezer Jones. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Benjamin, Lewis, Harry, Major, Samuel, Rhoda and Rebecca. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 73 on March 30th, 1849 in Canisteo, Stueben, New York.¹
