Benjamin Jones

Benjamin was born on June 9th, 1763 in Poundridge, Fairfield, Connecticut.¹ Benjamin's father was Benjamin Jones and his mother was Jemima Delavan. His paternal grandfather was Ebenezer Jones. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Lewis, Harry, Major, Samuel, Rhoda, Rebecca and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the ten children.¹
