Peleg Gifford

Peleg was born about 1744.¹ Peleg's father was Peleg Gifford and his mother was Abigail Sheperd. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Lydia Abbott; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Shepard and Mary Sherman. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Christopher, Abraham, Noah, Levi, Abigail, Tamar, Mariah and Mary. He was the oldest of the ten children.¹
