Daniel Gifford

Daniel was born about 1746 in Sandwich, Massachusetts.¹ Daniel's father was Peleg Gifford and his mother was Abigail Sheperd. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Lydia Abbott; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Shepard and Mary Sherman. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Peleg, Christopher, Abraham, Noah, Levi, Abigail, Tamar, Mariah and Mary. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died on December 10th, 1805 in Sandwich, Massachusetts.¹
