Abigail Gifford

Abigail was born about 1751.¹ Abigail's father was Peleg Gifford and her mother was Abigail Sheperd. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Lydia Abbott; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Shepard and Mary Sherman. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Peleg, Daniel, Christopher, Abraham, Noah, Levi, Tamar, Mariah and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.¹
