Levi Gifford

Levi was born on December 22nd, 1764 in Dartmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts?.¹ Levi's father was Peleg Gifford and his mother was Abigail Sheperd. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Lydia Abbott; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Shepard and Mary Sherman. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Peleg, Daniel, Christopher, Abraham, Noah, Abigail, Tamar, Mariah and Mary. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died before September 15th, 1832 in Paoli, Orange County, Indiana.¹
