Mary Gifford

Mary was born about 1757.¹ Mary's father was Peleg Gifford and her mother was Abigail Sheperd. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Lydia Abbott; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Shepard and Mary Sherman. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Peleg, Daniel, Christopher, Abraham, Noah, Levi, Abigail, Tamar and Mariah. She was the third youngest of the ten children.¹
