Mariah Gifford

Mariah was born about 1754.¹ Mariah's father was Peleg Gifford and her mother was Abigail Sheperd. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Lydia Abbott; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Shepard and Mary Sherman. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Peleg, Daniel, Christopher, Abraham, Noah, Levi, Abigail, Tamar and Mary. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died after 1791.¹
