Samuel Ira Farmer 
Samuel Ira was born on October 7th, 1872 in Tellico Plains, Monroe, Tennessee.1 Samuel Ira's father was John Nelson Farmer and his mother was Margaret Elizabeth Hunt. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Farmer and Rebecca Buchannon; his maternal grandparents were George Washington [Washie] Hunt and Mary Carolyn [Polly] Wilson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John Ulysses, Major Franklin, William Arthur, Lillie Olivan and Margaret Isable [Mag]. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 15 on April 18th, 1888.1 -
