John Ulysses Farmer 
John Ulysses was born on July 16th, 1874 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee.1 John Ulysses' father was John Nelson Farmer and his mother was Margaret Elizabeth Hunt. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Farmer and Rebecca Buchannon; his maternal grandparents were George Washington [Washie] Hunt and Mary Carolyn [Polly] Wilson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Samuel Ira, Major Franklin, William Arthur, Lillie Olivan and Margaret Isable [Mag]. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on February 21st, 1945.1 -
