George Washington [Washie] Hunt

George Washington [Washie] was born on August 17th, 1811 in South Carolina.¹   George Washington [Washie]'s father was William Lewis Hunt and his mother was Margaret Finley. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Thornton, Lewis, Terrell, William, Jesse, Howard F., Franklin Jackson, Malinda Jane, Irene and Mary Jane.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 85 on September 16th, 1896 in Tennessee.¹
