Mary Jane Hunt

Mary Jane was born on March 20th, 1835 in Monroe, Tennessee.¹   Mary Jane's father was William Lewis Hunt and her mother was Margaret Finley. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named George Washington [Washie], Thornton, Lewis, Terrell, William, Jesse, Howard F., Franklin Jackson, Malinda Jane and Irene.  She was the second youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 16 on August 17th, 1851.¹
