Edwin Thomas Evans 
Edwin Thomas was born on March 6th, 1868 in Screven Co., GA.1 Edwin Thomas' father was John Ruel Evans and his mother was Mary Clarissa Robbins. His paternal grandparents were John Ruel Evans and Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James Ruel, Capus Bowie, Tucker McCall, John Gordon, William Roy, Madie and Hattie Evalina. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on December 28th, 1948.1 General Notes
