Samuel Orr 
Samuel was born on February 5th, 1834 in Sangamon, Illinois, USA.1 Samuel's father was Robert Orr and his mother was Sarah Messersmith. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Orr and Margaret Peggy Ramsey; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Messersmith and Elizabeth Sawyer. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Andrew R, Alexander S, William, Hiram, Robert, Melinda, Elizabeth Ann, Martha Jane, Margaret and Nancy J. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 44 on March 28th, 1878 in Sangamon, Illinois, USA.1 -
