Andrew R was born on May 29th, 1814 in Wythe, Virginia, USA.1 Andrew R's father was Robert Orr and his mother was Sarah Messersmith. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Orr and Margaret Peggy Ramsey; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Messersmith and Elizabeth Sawyer. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Alexander S, William, Hiram, Robert, Samuel, Melinda, Elizabeth Ann, Martha Jane, Margaret and Nancy J. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 72 on May 6th, 1887 in Auburn, Sangamon, Illinois, USA.1 -
