Nm was born about 1760 in KY or TN. Nm's father was Johannes Michael or John Peter Troxell and her mother was Maria Margaret X. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Trachsel and Juliana Catharina Deshler. She had three brothers and a sister, named John, Frederick, Peter and Mary Ann.
