Johann Ludwig Von was born on August 6th, 1590 in Dillenbourg. Johann Ludwig Von's father was Johann VI Von Nassau-Dillenburg and his mother was Joannette Von Sayn-Wittgenstein. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm VIII Von Nassau-Dillenburg and Juliana Zu Stolberg-Wernigerode; his maternal grandparents were Ludwig I Von Sayn-Wittgenstein and Anne Zu Solms-Braunfels. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Johann II Von, Georg Von, Mathilde Von and Amalie Von. He died at the age of 62 on March 10th, 1653 in Hadamar.General Notes
