Wilhelm I Von was born on August 24th, 1488. Wilhelm I Von's father was Eberhard Von Sayn-Wittgenstein and his mother was Margareta Von Rodemachern. His paternal grandparents were Georg I Von Sayn-Wittgenstein and Elizabeth De La Mark. He was an only child. He died at the age of 81 on April 18th, 1570.General Notes
