Gottfried II Von was born about 1297. Gottfried II Von's father was Engelbert I Von Sayn and his mother is Jutta Von Isenburg. His paternal grandparents were Gottfried I Von Sayn and Jutta Von Isenburg; his maternal grandparents were Salentin II Von Isenburg and Agnes Von Runkel. He was an only child.
