Engelbert I Von was born about 1262. Engelbert I Von's father was Gottfried I Von Sayn and his mother was Jutta Von Isenburg. His paternal grandparents were Johann I Von Sponheim and Adelheid De La Mark; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich Von Isenburg and Mechtild Von Hochstaden. He had a brother and a sister, named Johann I Von and Adelheid Von. He died in 1336.General Notes
