Adelheid De La was born about 1215. Adelheid De La's father was Adolf I Von+ Altena and her mother is Irmgard Von+ Geldern. Her maternal grandfather was Otto I Von+ Geldern and her maternal grandmother is Richardis Von+ Wittelsbach. She had a brother named Engilbert I De La+. She was the older of the two children.
