Georg I Von was born in 1400. Georg I Von's father was Johann IV Von Sayn-Wittgenstein and his mother was Katharina Von Solms. His paternal grandfather was Salentin II Von Sayn and his paternal grandmother is Adelheid Von Wittgenstein; his maternal grandparents were Johann III Springinsleben Von Solms and Elizabeth Von Solms. He was an only child. He died at the age of 72 in 1472.General Notes
