Katharina Von was born about 1278. Katharina Von's father was Ludwig Von Arnsberg and her mother was Peronette Von Julich. Her paternal grandparents were Gottfried III Von+ Arnsberg and Adelheid Von+ Bliescastel; her maternal grandparents were Wilhelm IV Von+ Julich and Margareta Von+ Geldern. She was an only child.
