Ludmila+ was born about 1150. Ludmila+'s father was Mieszko III+ Piast and her mother was Elizabeth+ Arpad. Her paternal grandparents were Boleslas III+ Piast and Salome Von+ Berg; her maternal grandparents were Bela II+ Arpad and Jelena+ Nemanja. She had a brother and two sisters, named Otton+, Elzbieta+ and Judith+. She was the second oldest of the four children. She had two half-sisters named Anastasia+ and Swinislawa+.
