Moses Loren was born on August 13th, 1813 in Wilkes Co., NC. Moses Loren's father was David Hugh Michael and his mother was Lucinda Doty. His paternal grandfather was Christian Michael and his paternal grandmother is Maria Barbara Eisenhauer. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, David Hugh, Hannah, Sarah, Lucinda and Rebecca. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 86 on October 16th, 1899 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA. He was buried in Grave 4 Oak Hill Memorial, CA.General Notes
