James King Mikels 
James King was born on July 21st, 1847 in Wilkes Co., NC. James King's father was Moses Loren Mikels and his mother was Nancy King. His paternal grandparents were David Hugh Michael and Lucinda Doty. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph N., Sidney Fulton, Charles Milton, Martha America and Judith Isabell. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 84 on November 19th, 1931.General Notes
