Peter Kern 
Peter was born on July 10th, 1786 in Whitehall, Lehigh Co., PA. Peter's father was Peter Kern and his mother was Catherine Deshler. His paternal grandparents were Johann Georg Kern and Catherine Elizabeth Trauthager; his maternal grandfather was Adam Sr. Deshler and his maternal grandmother is Appolonia Mulholland. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Jonas, Daniel, Thomas, Suzanna, Juliana and Salome. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died in Philadelphia, PA.General Notes
