Daniel Kern 
Daniel was born on December 29th, 1788 in Whitehall, Lehigh Co., PA. Daniel's father was Peter Kern and his mother was Catherine Deshler. His paternal grandparents were Johann Georg Kern and Catherine Elizabeth Trauthager; his maternal grandfather was Adam Sr. Deshler and his maternal grandmother is Appolonia Mulholland. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Jonas, Peter, Thomas, Suzanna, Juliana and Salome. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died in Hamburg, Berks Co., PA.General Notes
