Silas+ Hobson 
Silas+ was born on February 13th, 1772 in Chatham Cty., NC. Silas+'s father was Stephen+ Hobson and his mother was Anne+ Barnes. His paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; his maternal grandparents were Brinsley+ Barnes and Sarah Elizabeth Barry+ Lindley. He had four brothers and a sister, named Stephen, George, David, John and Ann. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Jacob, Benjamin, Isaac, Mary, Rebecca Jane and Deborah. He died at the age of 83 in 1855 in Illinois.General Notes
