Mary was born on December 15th, 1792 in Chatham Co., NC. Mary's father was Stephen+ Hobson and her mother was Deborah Marshall. Her paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; her maternal grandparents were William Marshall and Rebecca Dixon. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Benjamin, Isaac, Rebecca Jane and Deborah. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Stephen, George, David, Silas+, John, Joseph and Ann. She died after 1856 in probably IA.General Notes
