John Hobson

John was born on October 28th, 1774 in Pittsboro, Chatham Cty., NC. John's father was Stephen+ Hobson and his mother was Anne+ Barnes. His paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; his maternal grandparents were Brinsley+ Barnes and Sarah Elizabeth Barry+ Lindley. He had four brothers and a sister, named Stephen, George, David, Silas+ and Ann. He is the youngest of the six children.
