Ann Hobson 
Ann was born on July 11th, 1769 in Chatham Cty., NC. Ann's father was Stephen+ Hobson and her mother was Anne+ Barnes. Her paternal grandparents were George+ Hobson and Hannah Elizabeth+ Kinneson; her maternal grandparents were Brinsley+ Barnes and Sarah Elizabeth Barry+ Lindley. She had five brothers named Stephen, George, David, Silas+ and John. She was the third youngest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Jacob, Benjamin, Isaac, Mary, Rebecca Jane and Deborah. She died at the age of 64 on February 1st, 1834 in Clinton Cty., OH.General Notes
Ann was disowned by the Cane Creek MM (Quaker) in 1789, because she was evidently married in a civil ceremony instead of the Friends Church. They were reinstated 1/1/1791.
