Thomas Hadley was born on December 10th, 1763 in Orange Co., NC. Thomas Hadley's father was Christopher Hiatt and his mother was Lydia Beals. His paternal grandparents are George Hiatt and Martha Wakefield; his maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Nathan, Asher, Zadoc, John, Jehu, William, Amos, Mordecai, Christopher, Esther and Lydia. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 68 on October 4th, 1832 in Morgan, IN.General Notes
Source 4 shows Thomas (born to Lydia Beals, dau. of John Beals III)as "Thomas Hadley"; however, since Lydia was past child-bearing age when she married Mr. Hadley, this was likely Thomas Hiatt. Further research needed. Source 4.
