Jehu Hiatt 
Jehu was born on August 20th, 1771 in Guilford, NC. Jehu's father was Christopher Hiatt and his mother was Lydia Beals. His paternal grandparents are George Hiatt and Martha Wakefield; his maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Hadley, Nathan, Asher, Zadoc, John, William, Amos, Mordecai, Christopher, Esther and Lydia. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
