Asher Hiatt 
Asher was born on May 30th, 1765 in New Garden Mm, Guilford, NC. Asher's father was Christopher Hiatt and his mother was Lydia Beals. His paternal grandparents are George Hiatt and Martha Wakefield; his maternal grandparents were John III Beals and Margaret Esther Hunt. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Hadley, Nathan, Zadoc, John, Jehu, William, Amos, Mordecai, Christopher, Esther and Lydia. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 35 on July 16th, 1800 in Grayson, VA.General Notes
