Oscar Eastin 
Oscar was born on January 18th, 1832 in Pike Co., MO. Oscar's father was James Thomas Eastin and his mother was Theodotia South. His paternal grandparents were John+ Eastin and Mary Elender+ Orchard. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Rufus, Brutus, James Thomas, Octavius, John Sullivan, Cassius Columbus, Roland Hoy, Elizabeth, Eleanor Orchard, Judith and Parthenia. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 28 on February 29th, 1860 in CA.General Notes
