Theodotia South 
Theodotia was born on September 1st, 1798. She had two brothers named John D and Thomas Drake. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 85 on February 14th, 1884 in Crow`s Landing, Stanislaus Co., CA.General Notes
1880 US Census shows Theodosia living with son Brutus and his family in Kentucky. Theodotia died just one county over from the one in which I was born and raised a few generations later! Source 67.
‌Theodotia and James Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on August 1st, 1820. They had eight sons and four daughters, named Rufus, Brutus, James Thomas, Octavius, Oscar, John Sullivan, Cassius Columbus, Roland Hoy, Elizabeth, Eleanor Orchard, Judith and Parthenia.
