Eleanor Orchard Eastin 
Eleanor Orchard was born on January 31st, 1824 in Madisonville, Hopkins Co., KY. Eleanor Orchard's father was James Thomas Eastin and her mother was Theodotia South. Her paternal grandparents were John+ Eastin and Mary Elender+ Orchard. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Rufus, Brutus, James Thomas, Octavius, Oscar, John Sullivan, Cassius Columbus, Roland Hoy, Elizabeth, Judith and Parthenia. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 48 on April 4th, 1872.General Notes
