Martin Eastin

Martin was born in 1791 in Lexington, Fayette, KY. Martin's father was Philip Eastin and his mother was Sarah Ann Hite Smith. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Eastin and Sarah Whitlock; his maternal grandparents are Charles Smith and Rebecca Hite. He had five brothers and six sisters, named George, Charles Smith, David, Philip, William, Rebecca, Frances, Mahalia, Louisiana, Sarah and Rachel. He is the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
