George Eastin 
George was born in 1783 in Lexington, Fayette, KY. George's father was Philip Eastin and his mother was Sarah Ann Hite Smith. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Eastin and Sarah Whitlock; his maternal grandparents are Charles Smith and Rebecca Hite. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Charles Smith, David, Martin, Philip, William, Rebecca, Frances, Mahalia, Louisiana, Sarah and Rachel. He was the oldest of the twelve children.
