David Eastin 
David was born in 1784 in Lexington, Fayette, KY. David's father was Philip Eastin and his mother was Sarah Ann Hite Smith. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Eastin and Sarah Whitlock; his maternal grandparents are Charles Smith and Rebecca Hite. He had five brothers and six sisters, named George, Charles Smith, Martin, Philip, William, Rebecca, Frances, Mahalia, Louisiana, Sarah and Rachel. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 56 on October 9th, 1840 in Fayette Co., KY.General Notes
