Barbara Overton Cosby

Barbara Overton was born about 1752. Barbara Overton's father was David Cosby and her mother was Mary Garland Overton. Her paternal grandfather was Charles Cosby and her paternal grandmother is Jane Meriwether; her maternal grandparents were James Overton and Elizabeth Garland. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Charles, David, William, James, Overton, John, Elisabeth, Mary and Nancy Ann Overton. She is the second youngest of the ten children.
