John Bowes-Lyon 
John was born on April 1st, 1886. John's father was Claude George Bowes-Lyon and his mother was Cecilia Nina Cavendish-Bentinck. His paternal grandparents were Claude Bowes-Lyon and Frances Dora Smith; his maternal grandparents were Charles Cavendish-Bentinck and Caroline Burnaby. He had a brother and two sisters, named Patrick, Rose Constance and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 43 on February 7th, 1930.General Notes
