Claude George Bowes-Lyon 
Claude George was born on March 14th, 1855 in Lowndes Square, England. Claude George's father was Claude Bowes-Lyon and his mother was Frances Dora Smith. His paternal grandparents were Thomas George I Bowes-Lyon and Charlotte Grimstead; his maternal grandparents were Oswald Smith and Henrietta Mildred Hodgson. He had a brother and a sister, named Malcolm and Mildred Marion. He was the oldest of the three children.
