Mildred Porteus 
Mildred was born in 1744 in Bedford Co., VA. Mildred's father was Robert Porteus and her mother was Judith Cokayne. Her paternal grandfather was Robert Porteus and her paternal grandmother is Mildred Smith; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Cokayne and Judith Halfhide. She was an only child. She died at the age of 71 in 1815.General Notes
