William Jasper Ashbaugh 
William Jasper was born on November 14th, 1838 in Paynesville, Pike Co., OH. William Jasper's father was Andrew* Ashbaugh and his mother was Margaret* McMillan. His paternal grandparents were Andrew* Ashbaugh and Rachel* Wilkins; his maternal grandparents are William* McMillan and Sarah* Littlejohn. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Anthony L., Henry Harrison, John Taylor, Thomas Andrew, James Taylor, Mary C., Louisa J., Sarah Ellen, Nancy Margaret, Martha Susan, Rachel Ann*, Clarissa Adeline and Alice Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 19 on September 25th, 1858.General Notes
