John Taylor Ashbaugh 
John Taylor was born on February 16th, 1841 in Paynesville, Pike Co., OH. John Taylor's father was Andrew* Ashbaugh and his mother was Margaret* McMillan. His paternal grandparents were Andrew* Ashbaugh and Rachel* Wilkins; his maternal grandparents are William* McMillan and Sarah* Littlejohn. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Anthony L., William Jasper, Henry Harrison, Thomas Andrew, James Taylor, Mary C., Louisa J., Sarah Ellen, Nancy Margaret, Martha Susan, Rachel Ann*, Clarissa Adeline and Alice Elizabeth. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 68 on November 22nd, 1909 in Hotchkiss Delta Co., CO.General Notes
